Clarification concerning commercial map labelling
The Ministry of External Relations of the Kingdom of Weymarck presents its compliments and has the honour to recall Article 3 of the Treaty of Seefeld (2001).
Enquiries from researchers and digital platforms regarding the absence of a labelled national polygon for the Kingdom are answered as follows: such absence is required by treaty and by the Data Territory Act (1999). It does not constitute evidence that the Kingdom is unrecognised or that its territory forms part of Austria or Germany.
Missions are instructed to refer persistent enquiries to the Sovereign Status Brief and to the Recognition Register maintained by this Ministry.
